BAC Presents the Watercolors of Virginia Schaffer

The Brookfield Arts Commission presents the art of Virginia Schaffer at Brookfield Town Hall between February 6th and March 16th. Meet the artist at a reception on Thursday, March 2nd from 6-7 PM.
Virginia has been an artist for her entire life even if it took a backseat to raising a family and working. She started sketching as a child and later pursued studies in drawing and painting privately and at the Washington Art Association. She discovered watercolors in 2006 and has been painting with them ever since. The feelings evoked by nature give her the push to paint.
She is a member of the Sherman Artist Association, SCAN, KAA, and Gallery-25 in New Milford. In 2015, Schaffer was awarded “Excellence in Watercolor” at the Kent Spring Juried Show.
Her work in the exhibition is for sale. Please contact the BAC by email at brookfieldartscommissionct@gmail.com if interested.
